One In Pink

Hello, Bellas!

The colour pink makes everything look pretty. Definitely one of my favourite colours. So why not share with you a dress I wore yesterday.

It happened to be my friend’s brother’s engagement the previous day, and which wedding event doesn’t need us to pull up the best we got? I wanted to dress up in something simple and elegant, but I also wanted to look all golden dressed up. So, there was me pulling out this pretty pink outfit, more of a traditional gown, to look perfect for the engagement party.

Well, credits are also to be given to my tailor who stitched it. Yes, I did not purchase it from any store out there, because honestly traditional outfits glow more when made just for you. I would admit that most of the traditional outfits of mine are stitched and hence they are so well fitted as it was meant for my body.

Coming back to the outfit:

Keeping it simple I wore this pink gown with traditional golden work on it. The dress speaks it all so honestly not much efforts were needed from my side.

1. For some more detail, I used a rich golden ribbon to tie around my waist. You could also go with a golden belt. But I thought a ribbon does the same thing and it cost only around Rs. 10 to 20 per meter

2. Coming to the makeup, I had my false lashes game on! Pink eyes and pink lips with a golden shining highlighter enhanced the look very much.

3. And for the accessories, I choose to wear some heavy earrings as I wasn’t going to wear anything on my neck. Along with it, I wore some golden bangles and a large size golden ring.

4. To complete the look, I just added a small black bindi.

And that was it, simple but an outstanding look to attend any function.
